Still having the same issue. We make our own meals for backpacking and they are so much tastier and cheaper than the store bought stuff. Pour directly into trays while rack is in freezer. I found the re-circulation pump doesn't need to run the entire time, so I added a programmable timer to control how long it's on and how long it's off.
